An industrial visit was held on July 8, 2017 for recently joined MBA fresher students of Faculty of Management, Pacific University. The students were taken to Swarnkar Art & Crafts which is a handicraft based manufacturing & export house.
Students got hands on exposure to a SME where they got a firsthand opportunity to interact with executives of the company. Students also showed keen interest in enquiring about the sustainable business model prevailing at Swarnkar Art & Crafts.
The key features of the visit included knowing the process of making handmade paper and manufacturing of luxurious pure leather finished journals and stationery items. The CEO of the firm Mr. Govind Soni humbly spends his valuable time to explain students about the intricacies of exports and his business operations.
The students were accompanied by Asst. Prof. Jinendra Vyas & Mr. Chandresh Soni.
