International Conference on Integral Development for Wholesome Life

 Faculty of Management,Pacific Academy of Higher Education & Research University, Udaipur organized an International Conference on Integral Development for Wholesome Life on 4-5 June, 2016.
Integral approach is a key to balanced development with inclusive growth. Taking note of the growing disparities, environmental deterioration, social strife, rampant poverty and growing stress across the majority of masses, the Pacific University endeavored to organize this international conference with unprecedented 51 tracks, within 10 groups by partnering with many esteemed organizing partner universities. The partnering universities included
·        Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur
·        Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur
·        Kota Univeristy, Kota
·        Career Point University, Kota & many more

This inaugural ceremony initiated a series of academic deliberations to be conducted in the ensuing months. Pacific University took the privilege & initiative to organize International Conference with the first 4 tracks, on 4-5th June 2016.
The Inaugural Session began with invoking the blessings of Lordess Saraswati, followed by a floral welcome of our revered Guest of Honor Prof. I.V. Trivedi  the Vice Chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur and the Vice Chancellor of Career Point University, Kota, Col. (Dr.) Mithilesh Dixit.
The august gathering was warmly welcomed by our University Provost, Dean, Faculty of Management & Conference Director Prof. Mahima Birla.
Hon’ble President of Pacific University, Prof. B.P Sharma  briefed us about the exuberant conference theme and relevant  socio economic issues of integral development . His words were enlightening and revoked the need of deliberations on such remarkable theme.
We were honored to have, the Vice Chancellor of Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur Prof. I.V. Trivedi as he shared his thoughts and experiences with us on global issues of sustainable development;  followed by the words of wisdom by the Vice Chancellor of Career Point University, Kota, Col. Dr. Mithilesh Dixit. His extempore discussion on socio-economic issues of integral development mesmerized the gathering.

After the thought provoking speeches, the dignitaries present on the dais released the conference souvenir. Lastly the vote of thanks was given to our revered guests and dignified gathering, by Dr. Pallavi Mehta, the organizing secretary of the international conference.

The following tracks were conducted for two days:
Track 1: Functional Approach for Integral and Wholesome Development
Track 2: Relative Economics: The Basis of Virtuous Life
Track 3: Integral Approach for Development
Track 4: Ethics and Values For Social Well Being

The two day International Conference on Integral Development for Wholesome Life was concluded with the valedictory session at 1.00 p.m. on 5 June,2016.
The valedictory session began with invoking the blessings of Lordess Saraswati, followed by a floral welcome of our revered guest Hon’ble President AIU & Vice Chancellor of GLA University, Mathura Prof. Durg Singh Ji Chauhan, Hon’ble Vice Chancelor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Prof. Uma Shanker Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancelor of Kota University, Prof. P.K. Dashora.
The August gathering was cordially welcomed by our University Provost, Dean, Faculty of Management & Conference Director Prof. Mahima Birla. Hon’ble President of Pacific University, Prof. B.P Sharma delivered his presidential speech. His words were edifying and enlightening.
Thereafter the track coordinators Dr. Khushbu Agarwal, Dr. Nidhi Nalvaya, Ms. Sini George and Dr. Kadambari Jain presented the session reports of the four technical tracks.
Our Guest of Honor and Vice Chancellor of Kota University, Prof. P.K. Dashora, talked about the ethical issues across the globe highlighting the changed family structure and declining moral values
 Dr. Uma Shankar Sharma, Guest of honor and Vice Chancellor of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur,  conversed about the  growth aspects of Agriculture and Dairy sector in the country to enrich the ecological  balance to make world a better place to live in, he even discussed how the environment is getting deteriorated and the methods to preserve our globe.
We were honored to have Prof. Durg Singh ji Chauhan,  Chief Guest President AIU & Vice Chancellor of GLA University, Mathura, he discussed about how the social & moral values in the country and abroad have degraded and such conferences provide the platform for sensitizing people.
The feedback of the Conference was given by two of the paper presenters Dr. Ranjan Sabhaya, working as Assistant Professor at S.R. Luthra Institute of Management, Surat and Dr. H.J. Gurunath from Bangalore, working as Visiting Faculty at S.N. Bhat College of Commerce & Business Management.

Last of all, the vote of thanks was given to our honored guests and dignified gathering, by Dr. Pallavi Mehta, the organizing secretary of the international conference.
The valediction ceremony was convened by Ms. Anshika Parashar and Ms. Heena Purohit.
