Sports Meet at Jaipuria Institute of Management

The students of Faculty of Management Studies, Pacific University participated in 4th sports meet at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipuria University, Jaipur. The sports event took place on 11th & 12th September 2015. Nishant Chaturvedi, Salman Sheikh, Piyush Sharma, Jaydeep Chouhan, Chetan Joshi and Shubham Chaturvedi (MBA III semester) represented Pacific University at Jaipuriya University. The students were accompanied by the team manager Mr. Abhinav Sharma (Sports Officer), Pacific Institute Management. The overall management of the teams was done by the sports coordinator Mr. Chandresh Soni.
    The winners were as follows:
Ø Nishant Chaturvedi : 2nd prize in Cyber Game , NFS Most Wanted.
Ø Salman Sheikh and Piyush Sharma - 4th position in Table Tennis (doubles)
Ø Jaydeep Chouhan - 5th position in Table Tennis (singles). 
Ø Chetan Joshi - 4th position in 100 mt. race

Ø Shubham Chaturvedi – 5th position in  Chess Tournament

Youth Development Foundation of India

Session on 'Personality Development and Business Etiquette' by Youth Development Foundation of India

Mr. SANTOSH KUMAR C S, Assistant Professor, PAHER and Team member of Youth Development Foundation of India conducted a one day ‘workshop’ on ‘Personality Development and Business Etiquette’ on 21st August 2015, at “Educate Girls” an NGO, Jalore, Rajasthan. 36 Trainers (Train the Trainers) were made to participate in the above said activities to enhance their self –confidence and groom their personality. Trainees enjoyed the session and found it extremely valuable for their Future endeavors, Better Employability.

The second session was conducted in the second half of the day. Using the V.A.R.K Technique the topics covered various aspects such as positive attitude, Professional dressing style, Out of box thinking, self knowledge evaluation, self esteem and self confidence which are absolutely essential for the development of a trainer and would be useful for their higher professional growth.

The session ended up with an extremely positive feedback and the invitation, certificate, study materials and funds received from the session were submitted to the committee.

Picnic (MBA I Semester)

Picnic (MBA I Semester)


A much deserved break from routine work was given to the students and teachers of Pacific Institute of Management. The college picnic to Neeliya Mahadev was arranged on 18th September, 2015. Neeliya Mahadev is situated near Chittorgarh in the midst of green hills and waterfall. The place has a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva hence the name. The students enjoyed delicious lunch at the same place. The students were accompanied by faculty members Mr. R.P. Shrimali, Mr. Narendra Chawda, CA Disha Fattawat, Mr.Chandresh Soni and Ms.Ritumbara Trivedi.

Industrial Visit at J.K. Cement Works

Industrial Visit at J.K. Cement Works, Nimbahera


Industrial Visit was carried out at J.K. Cement Works, Nimbahera on 18th September, 2015 especially for semester one students. J.K. cement has three decades of experience in cement manufacturing. The company is the second largest manufacturer of white cement in India. The purpose behind the visit was to make students aware about how different actions related to human resource; marketing, production and the packaging of cement are carried out in company. As soon as the students reached industry, they were guided by Mr. M.S. Shekhawat and an orientation of industry was given. After the orientation all the students were headed by Mr. Shailendra Sharma & Mr. Kunal Khamesra who helped them to understand how production and the packaging of the product are done. It took almost an hour to visit the industry which was followed by questions of students. Students got a chance to transfer their theoretical knowledge to practical implication. The students were accompanied by faculty members Mr. Narendra Chawda and CA Disha Fattawat.

Inani Marbles and Industries Ltd.


Industrial Visit was carried out at Inani Marbles Pvt. Ltd. on 18th September, 2015 especially for first semester students. Inani Marbles and Industries Ltd. operates North India’s biggest fully automatic Italian processing unit at Chittorgadh. The purpose behind the visit was to make students aware about how different actions related to human resource, marketing  are carried out in company and give them feel of managers as  they have started there MBA course. The Industry is located in the outskirts of Chittorgarh. As soon as the students reached industry, they were guided by Mr. Anuj Inani & Mr. Rishiraj Inani and an orientation of industry was given by them. After the orientation all the students were headed by Mr. RishiRaj Inani who helped them to understand how production and finishing of the marble and granite is carried out and how they reach their clients. It took almost an hour to visit the industry which was followed by questions of students. Students got a chance to transfer their theoretical knowledge to practical implication. The students were accompanied by faculty members Mr. R.P. Shrimali and Ms. Ritumbara Trivedi.

Personality Development Session by YDFI

Personality Development Session by YDFI-Youth Development Foundation of India
The Team of Youth Development Foundation of India conducted a one day inductive session on Personality Development on 17th Sep. 15, in Government Girls P.G College and Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dungarpur. Ms. Archana Singh, Assistant Professor, PAHER conducted a session in Govt. Girls P.G. College where students were provided knowledge and training on effective public speaking, presentation skills, communication skills, time management, anger management and stress management.Students were made to participate in various activities to enhance their self –confidence and groom their personality. Students enjoyed the session and found it extremely valuable for their employability and professional growth.
The second session was conducted in Navodaya Vidyalaya by Ms. Madhu Yogi, Deputy Provost, PAHER and Dr. Kulvinder Kaur, Assistant Professor, PAHER. Ms. Madhu Yogi covered various aspects such as positive attitude, dressing sense, mindset blockage of a learner, self visualization, self esteem and self confidence which are absolutely essential for the development of a student. With her inspirational lecture she was able to capture the attention of the students. She also motivated students to inculcate in them the positive traits of their role model which would be useful for their higher professional growth.
Dr. Kulvinder Kaur conducted another session in Navodaya Vidyalaya on Meditation through Kundalini Awakening. Students learned about benefits of meditation through Kundalini Awakening and its need for treating behavior and attention disorders of the students in the present scenario. Students also took a short practical session on Kundalini  Awakening to understand its deep working.They  were also given knowledge about Chakra Healing Therapy for attaining sound physical and mental health. The session was extremely lucrative and valuable for the students and was successfully conducted.
All the sessions were successfully conducted by the faculty members.
